Today was like an orchestrated symphony for me. I went there with my friend Firas Ghanem (who's also a VERY serious food critic btw), & everything was just perfect.

To start off, I ordered the hot & spicy soup; verdict: always divine, the best. Then we moved on to salads that we ordered from Yoshi (Love the fact that u can order from 2 restaurants @ once with Atico- same applies to the Bistro/Amigo combo for e.g.), & those comprised the delightful taste-bud-heaven seaweed for me, & kani for Firas. The journey was still young, as we then treaded upon the crispy vegetable tunnels - spring rolls - with pieces so generous, & also those bang-on flavours in the whatchamacallit shrimp sticks- Y.A H.A.B.I.B.I.
I'm SO full right now & yet still salivating. Anyway moving on..
3 mains bring us to orgasmic ecstasy; shredded beef with green peppers, shrimps with cashew nuts, & the oh-so-supreme supreme beef- alongside steamed & vegetable rice..
We had to do it proper of course, so we then wore our monkey caps & savaged the banana fritters with toffee caramel & vanilla ice-cream.
Back to Earth, we ended it with an aromatic jasmine tea, accompanied by a 3-in-1 sand timer- for light, medium, or heavy tea.

All in all, today was a perfect ending to a hectic working day. Start to finish I was waiting for a mistake but they wont indulge me. The hungry hr made it all the more worth it - amaaaazing value for money. Oh & last but not least, a word to the wise Atico manager: that Raquel is really a treasure. Take good care of her, promote her, do whatever it takes to keep her. She was a major constituent behind my positive feedback here. She is a pro, pleasant, nice sense of humour, good attention to detail + excellent memory. She remembers me n my fam, what we ordered, our conversation. Also, she was the one to recommend my superior beef.

Ya3teekom il 3afyeh Atico. No one tops u in the food business I wish u all the best. My only comments: bring back the old white, fluffy, odourless prawn crackers. The ones u have now r fishy n hard. Also, make the process of applying to the Atico card easier, so loyal customers like me can become even more loyal- forever. I MEA. The terms and application process dnt make sense to me :)

Thanks!

Arnold

Visited today for first time and not disappointed at all.
Started with Sweetcorn and crab soup yummy, then crispy duck with pancakes, again just as we have had anywhere before, then sweet and sour chicken, very good Ren Chai crispy beef fab, Singapore noodles which were good but for us could have been a little spicier but we will ask next time and a veg dish with lots of mushrooms again nice. Over all very very nice but such huge portions for 3 of us, however we manages banana fritters and ice cream wow really yummy and jasmine tea with other drink. Service was excellent and very discreet. Love love love the no smoking area a huge plus for us!!!!!Thanks. The prawn crackers and dips super but be careful the chilli one is very hot. We had a super time and cannot wait to go back

i have saved this review for a month but due to my travel i was not able to share it earlier but i really want to share it.

We went as a group of four (2 couples)
Location was good the outer look was good as well
The interior design were extremely nice (not typical copy paste Chinese restaurant) with nice soft music and we`ve spent some time exploring the decorations and colors which gave us an excellent first impression about the restaurant (9/10)

After a while the waiter came up to check our order with a profession attitude. We ordered some starters that included shrimp rolls and vegetable spring rolls and they were very good (highly recommended) (9/10)
It’s time for main course,,,
The portion size was good and filling, well presented
Our main course included three types of food, the beef, chicken and noodles
So far so good BUT
And as Chinese food is known for its herbs and spices such as ginger, lemon grass and coriander.
our dishes where filled with soy sauce and oyster sauce without even tasting the herbs and spices that should be tasted in Chinese food and I have been to china a lot and I know how it should taste like and we felt like the 3 dishes had the same taste and dressing
Even the rice was not as Chinese rice should be, it’s almost impossible to eat it with chopsticks and it smells like starch!!!
HUGE disappointment (3/10) all points for presentations and food display
We had tea and desert which were nice (tea fans would like it)
I hope next time will be better

My rating is for the food.
Atmosphere: 10/10!!
Service: 9/10
(Would be 10 if the waiter did not touch our table every five minutes, something local restaurants mistake for hospitality).
Food: 4/10 if it is meant to be Chinese. 10/10 if it is meant to be parboiled American Long Grain Rice with regular steak. Rice in Chinese/Japanese cooking is supposed to be sticky: easy to eat with chopsticks yet still keeping their separate shape, and smell milky.
Tea: 10/10 Magnificent!
Manager: 10/10

Summary: Go to Ren Chai to drink beautiful, delicious tea to talk softly with friends or colleagues. Glass teapot with a candle beneath feels like a soft lantern of crystal, only you are drinking out of it.

Ren Chai confuses me, some times we go there the food will be very good but some times it is really without taste, taking into consideration that we almost always order the same dishes.

We always think twice before we go to Ren Chai but it is always on our favorite list

Yesterday I went for lunch at Ren Chai, I have few comments about my experience there, first of all I found the waiters lacked the proper knowledge of the dishes served, when asked about the dishes they stumbled and couldn’t answer me properly, Chinese cuisine is somewhat popular in Jordan but even though you need to have employees who are confident and equipped with knowledge about the dishes served.

I found some of the dishes to be over priced, even if this is a fine dining restaurant but when I order a grouper fillet with black mushroom or a black bean sauce for 17 or 16 JD I expect to get a full fillet not tiny pieces of fish, the dish was tasty but way over priced

The other over priced items were vegetable spring rolls and wontons they only consist of chicken, or carrots and cabbage, in a simple rapping that is available everywhere why a 2 piece spring rolls will cost 3 JDs!! I do not understand!!

Never the less I love it there but I truly hope you consider some of the prices on your menu, in addition to training your waiters on the dishes.
